Welcome to the acsidaho.org, the website of ACS-Idaho!. ACS-Idaho is a local section (section #561) of the American Chemical Society (ACS). Our section is composed of and serves chemists, chemical engineers, and chemistry teachers from eight (8) counties of southeastern Idaho, USA.

Many of our members live in or near the cities of Pocatello, Idaho Falls, or Rexburg and work for Idaho State University, Brigham Young University-Idaho, or Idaho National Laboratory.

Our mission is to facilitate professional development for our members, to promote chemistry and chemical engineering in our local communities, and to recognize and reward demonstrated excellence in chemistry by students in our area.
